Constantine: Hellblazer

I didn't realize how much i would like this series. It seems like a nice mix of DC Comics and Vertigo lines.

I also didn't think the guy he met in book one would play much of a role later on, but color me surprised (please comic book gods don't let him or his girls be turned into demon dinner) I am only on issue 11 so i am not all caught up yet...

I like the idea that Constantine is a selfish arse... but that he honestly DOES try to do good, and like Oliver said (please let him be okay) Good is hard to do right. he's so damned (hehe) human. he's greedy, selfish, prone to anger and pettiness. but he tries. It's interesting, when explained by the snake chicken who tries to warn oliver against him, a lot of the people who "blame" John made their own choices.
